What to expect:

Perform programming for production equipment and associated control units
Develop programs and code PLC controls and test benches
Contribute to continuous improvement and optimization of machines, tools, equipment, and processes
Conduct error analysis and troubleshoot breakdowns as needed
Conduct virtual and physical commissioning of manufacturing equipment
Participate in projects related to PLC programming, either as a team member or project manager

Ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
Significant experience in PLC Programming, preferably with Siemens systems
Proficiency in programming vision systems (preferably Keyence), motor drives (preferably SEW), and electrical axes (preferably Festo)
Ability to read and write logic using ladder or sequential function chart
Familiarity with communication protocols between PLCs, robots, supervision, and traceability systems
5 or more years of experience in a fast-paced or automotive industry
Basic understanding of automotive processes, tools, and Lean Principles
Technical knowledge of machine parts and drawings, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems
Proficient in applying Lean problem-solving tools.
Experience working in cross-functional teams
Knowledgeable about process optimization techniques
Familiarity with relevant HSE and workplace safety requirements
Fluency in English required, with French as a native language or fluent proficiency if not
