We seek your support in establishing the LOEWE Center DYNAMIC at the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics, and Psychotherapy. The LOEWE Center DYNAMIC (Dynamic Network Approach of Mental Health to Stimulate Innovations for Change) aims to achieve a new understanding of mental disorders and their treatment through the use of dynamic network models.
In our subproject, we intend to analyze existing therapy videos using computer vision and machine learning to derive objective parameters for social interactions. Additionally, we will collect a new sample of young children whose development will be longitudinally monitored. This interdisciplinary subproject operates at the intersection of psychology and informatics, fostering close collaboration among the participating DYNAMIC centers, particularly the Universities of Marburg, Gießen, and the Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education (DIPF). The doctoral position will be jointly supervised by Prof. Dr. Christine M. Freitag (Director of the Clinic) and Dr. Nico Bast (Head of Clinical Research)
