As a Junior Verification Engineer at Infineon, you will get valuable training to be able to assume a role in technological progress. In addition, you will be responsible for a wide variety of verification tasks, working closely with other teams.
You will participate in different stages of the project’s cycle (definition, planning, or execution), depending on your experience, skills, and career goals.
You will be involved in the following activities, but not limited to:
- Be a member of the verification team in IP, SubSystem or SoC level verification phases;
- Develop verification environments consisting in test benches for top/block level to check proper behavior of circuits;
- Review RTL architectural and implementation specifications;
- Develop or maintain verification environments to support IP/ASIC development (create stimulus drivers, monitors, dataflow models, and test plans to verify function and performance of advanced IPs;
- Define and develop test scenarios required to verify that IP/ASIC meets functional and performance goals;
- Define and implement functional coverage plans;
- Develop testing and regression methodologies for new verification flow;
- Finding root cause of design flaw – hunting and reporting bugs in RTL.
You are best equipped for this role if you:
- Are studying Electronic Engineering or a similar field;
- Have knowledge of Electronic Devices and Circuits;
- Know Digital Integrated Circuits and Microprocessors Architectures;
- Have knowledge of Object-oriented programming;
- Are self-motivated with the initiative to seek constant improvements in the verification activity.
- Are fluent in English.
