Job Purpose and Role:
Reporting to the Manager Sales & Marketing, you will work as a member of a proactive sales team dedicated to increasing the Airline’s market share by promoting its products and services to meet both departmental and personal targets.
· Effectively communicate and sell Saudia products and services to travel agencies, TMCs and Corporates in order to ensure excellent market coverage in the allocated region.
· Work within the pre-set geographic territory determined by Management.
· Manage a dedicated portfolio of travel agency accounts & provide Management with regular updates.
· Interpret revenue data to maximize revenues and identify new opportunities.
· Generate new leads and sales through new business.
· Meet and exceed established sales goals and targets set by Management.
· Update databases and records accordingly.
· Maintain a consistently high level of customer service at all times.
· Anticipate and resolve any problems before they arise, to ensure the Company's image is protected.
· Respond to all incoming calls from customers and assist them to reach a satisfactory solution to their needs.
· Organize promotional activities when required.
Person specification:
· Experience in field sales.
· Previous experience of working in travel trade reservation & ticketing procedures, polices and entries using a GDS, preferably the Amadeus system.
· Commercial acumen and the drive to achieve goals and objectives.
· Excellent communication, organizational and people management skills.
· Highly competent IT skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and databases.
· Degree educated or equivalent level.
· Fluency in German and English language.
· Must possess legal ability to live and work in Germany (without sponsorship).
