Your tasks

• Management of entire product life cycle of ChartWorld Data Distribution System / Back Office (CWDS/BO), and ENC Server (ENCs) from planning to implementation. 
• Defining work scope for development teams involved (specifications, plans etc.)
• Management of development projects.
• Optimization of Cloud infrastructure used for Data Distribution Solutions and integrated supporting services to ensure high degree of system availability to customers.
• Development of work instructions and documentation.
• Support of QA Team with relevant procedures for monitoring, automatic and manual testing. 
• Software releases of Data Distribution Solution
• 2^nd level support for CW support team and B2B customers.
• Communications with our key clients and suppliers in the field of task
• Trainings, Workshops, internal and external

What we need from you

• University degree in a relevant technical discipline (Master degree, Ph.D. or similar). 
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in the field of digital data services in maritime industry.
• In depth practical knowledge of up-to-date IT technologies.
• Work experience with ERP system support is of benefit.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in leading software development projects.  
• Motivated working attitude, business focus and the ability to present and sell our services and develop them further
• Strong logical mindset and problem solving attitude
• Systematic, logic and goal oriented way of working
• High commitment to the company and to the purpose, vision and values of ChartWorld as well as to the quality of the own work
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluency in English incl. technical terms
• Fluency in German incl. technical terms would be beneficial
